i was going to pop up to day as i got some transport . it need a local bus to go back and forth . every 2 hours . down through Penampang.
Sadly i got rained of. I want to capture some of the bird life. And that not whats in the bird sanctuary .

Hi . yes some times at the right time and weather. You can take Malaria tablets if you want as a precaution . However they are cheeper to buy here in Kotakinabalu at the pharmacy . Then in the UK where I had to pay £25.00 here £6 . 30 RM I have been here now 4 years . Only time I take them, Is when i go into the jungle . And thats a long way from here.
Keep your elbows and ankles covered . And use lemon grass Mosquito repellent
And some Local X oil for when you do get bit . And you will be OK. You need almost a hole day to get round and enjoy this park. I keep going and taking photos. Can see them on my web site http://www.diveactive.com Its a fun and educating day.

I’ve seen a picture in your brochure, where an older lady and a child are sitting next
to an Orang utan, is it still possible to take a picture like that? Please let me know
a.s.a.p. Also, what’s about Malaria and Dengue Fever in the area?
