I went to KKIA (Kota Kinabalu International Airport) today with my son, just to see the newly developed Terminal 2 airport. For your information, Terminal 2 KKIA is dedicated to “low cost carrier”, aka LCCT terminal (similar like KLIA LCCT). It is the hub for Airasia and Flysianexpress airlines.
I hereby show you 21 photos taken with my Sony DSC-S40. Not so beautiful. Plan to upgrade to Nikon D40 later.
Anyway, enjoy the photo!
Wow, very nice LCCT Terminal in KK, it is even better than the KL one.
I remembered on the Christmas trip back to KK last year, it is about to complete. I missed that, maybe next trip back to KK will visit again.
Yes, very spacious. A long walk to the aircraft to board the plane…
A long walk it is. All LCCT requires long walk, otherwise it will not be “budget” airport, unlike the main airport which has walkalator, escalator etc.
Does anyone know if the airport provides car park facilities as i intend to leave my car there while i take a short trip from KK to Simgapore via Air Asia?
Yes, the airport provides car park facilities. But I am not sure about the rates & fees.
Hi, hope someone can help…
I will be spending abt 4.5 hours (from 12am to 430am) at LCCT, KK as my next flight is at 6am the next day. Just wondering if there is a 24 hour McD or other eateries at LCCT.
Thanks!
Would anyone know how much it cost by taxi from Terminal 2 to Grand Borneo hotel at 0ne Borneo Hypermall?
Would Limousine be a lot more expensive?
I would like to ask..is KK T2 24 hours? Pls answer me ASAP. Tks.
Can anyone tell me wheter I can bring the frozen ham from Clark to KK by Air Asia?
Does anyone know is there any free transport or shuttle buses taking passenger from LCCT to main terminal building? if not then how much it cost to take taxi ? Thank you in advance.
